Hi! My name is Eric Martinson and I am the Chief Travel Genie at the Genie Travel Company. I am also proud to be the founder of WDW Tips and Tricks, a Facebook group with over 1M followers who are passionate about all things Disney.
With the success of WDW Tips and Tricks, I have become a “go to guy” for people going to Walt Disney World. This led to me working with Riverdale Travel and becoming a travel agent specializing in Disney in 2016.
Because of Riverdale’s decades of success (almost 100 years in business!), I’ve partnered with them to utilize my lifelong passion for Disney to help others. I love helping my clients experience Disney, and I realized I could help so many more people by helping teach passionate Disney fanatics how to sell this amazing product.
Together, we created Genie Travel Company, a host agency division of Riverdale Travel, to help people just like me turn their Disney passion into a profitable business. For some, it might just be making enough to pay for an annual family vacation. For others, it could be a new career, where you work from home while helping others enjoy the Magic of a Disney Vacation.
My love for Walt Disney World started at a young age. On one trip, I noticed that Cast Members had their hometown under their name on the name tag. I thought that having an Eric from Fargo, ND tag would be pretty cool.
Fast forward a few years and I was accepted into the Disney College Program. This was an AMAZING experience.
I learned so much about how to have the best time at Disney. I proudly wore my Eric from Fargo, ND name tag to work, which I still have today. I am forever grateful to the company for giving me this experience!
Now I get to take my family (you can see the whole crew) to Walt Disney World. I always enjoy watching my children experience Disney like I did!
